EEOICPA Claims for Atomic Energy/Nuclear Workers and Survivors
What started in 1938, when scientists began gathering research and data for the inception of the Manhattan Project, this development would later bring serious side effects/illnesses to the American public that performed work activities on these projects. The toxic substance exposures, cancers, radiation, and other illnesses associated while employed at these Department of Energy (DOE) projects would wreak havoc on the workers health then and to this present day.
The EEOICPA act was passed on October 30, 2000 and later became effective on July 1, 2001. This act provides awards to current and former DOE workers and contractors in the range from 150,000 to 400,000. Also, this act provides medical services and expense coverage for their accepted medical condition.
During the past 35 years in the Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H) field, I have been on several of these DOE projects and have first-hand knowledge of the chemicals/contaminants that workers are faced with and potentially exposed too. Also, I have written thousands of ES&H programs for the protection of workers safety and health.
In being an independent professional advocate, I apply my competent knowledge and skills to assist the claimants with their potential exposures and aid with the difficult task of the EEOICPA claims process. Since the inception of the program in 2001, I have full-time helped over 3000 families successfully receive awards from this program. Due to high demand, I have now focused my attention and skills full-time in aiding claimants with their EEOICPA claims.
There are no upfront costs. The claimant pays me after their claim is accepted and they receive an award. If the claimant is denied benefits, no fee is charged for my services.
